KnoxDanceWorx is Knoxville's newest and most progressive dance studio, offering specialty classes in the latest styles of Contemporary Jazz and Lyrical, Voganova Method of Ballet, all levels of Hip Hop, and Advanced Tap (to surely challenge even the area's best tappers). For the serious tappers of Knoxville, KDW is th home to the area's only specialty Tap Company. We are also home to the exclusive all boys Tap Team known as the Tap Dawgs! For the youngest of dancers we offer the opportunity to become a member of our WEE Dance Program, Knoxville's exclusive pre-school program, offering a graduation and certificate of completion before moving on to our Mini-Motion dance program and beyond to the more advanced classes.
All classes are taught by highly qualified teachers with extensive training in their styles of dance. Shelley and her talented staff are dedicated to offering every student, on every level, an opportunity to learn in a proffessional and positive atmosphere. Dancers are treated with respect, spoken to with respect, and disciplined in a positive and respectful manner. Our students will learn the art of dance in an encouraging atmosphere while gaining self confidence and self respect through their hard work and dedication to becoming the best dancer and person they can possibly be.
